1. Rural Aleppo- Hayyan- gunfire was opened heavily during a raid of the city creating a state of panic amongst civilians.


2. Rural Aleppo- Azaaz- gunfire was heard from the southern checkpoint, BMB vehicle consisting of government military personnel placed at the main roundabout.


3. Aleppo city- Salah Al Din- fire opened onto demonstrators to disperse the demonstration.


4. Aleppo city- Al Hamdanieh- huge explosion and heavy gunfire opened on the area, noises of ambulance cars and civilian cars believed to be carrying Assad thugs arrived near New Aleppo.


Martyrs:


1. Hisham Khanji-

Martyred as a result of gunshot wounds, his body was found at Al Jandoul roundabout in Aleppo city.

Fourth year Dentistry student, he is one of the free students that participated in many demonstrations.

Hisham was being chased by security for 15 days, he was able to flee to Lebanon, but he returned and handed himself over to security forces because they arrested his older brother.

Two days after he handed himself over, his dead body was found with a gunshot wound to the head at Al Jandoul roundabout in Aleppo.

His funeral commenced today secretly due to pressure of security forces on his family.

Report on the province of Aleppo and its surroundings Tuesday 08/05/2012


Violations

1. Aleppo city- Hanano housing- Assad thugs attack an evening demonstration in order to disperse it.

2. Aleppo suburbs- Al Baab- Security forces place a checkpoint at Al Thura oven at the entrance of the city.

3. Aleppo city- Salah Al Din and Al Miyassar- Campaign of raids and arrests in the two neighbourhoods.

1. Al Baab-  Reports that three young males were arrested after the evening demonstration.

2. Rural Aleppo- Al Baab- Assad security arrest 27 year old ‘Mohammad Amro Tarabishi’ from his home early evening today, he is married and has a two year old child.

Friday of "With pure intentions, comes victory" 04/05/2012

Demonstrations that had fire opened onto:
Salah Al Din- Forces opened fire at the freedom callers that came out in a demonstration after Friday prayer which resulted in the martyrdom of young male ‘Abd Al Ghani Kaakeh’.
Salah Al Din- gunfire was opened, as well as the use of tear gas onto demonstrators that demonstrated outside the house of the martyr ‘Abd Al Ghani Kaakeh’.
Al Baab Way- Heavy gunfire was opened onto demonstrators in order to disperse a demonstration that came out after Friday prayers demanding to topple the regime.
Aleppo suburbs- Anadaan- Gunfire was opened into the sky by Assad army stationed at the entrance of town in order to terrorise the freedom callers who came out in a second demonstration in the evening.
Salah Al Din- security forces open fire onto the freedom callers participating in a mass evening demonstration in order to disperse it. Martyrs: 5

Anadaan- Al Sikaree neighbourhood: Martyrdom of the entire ‘Razeeq’ family after the Assad thugs stormed the house and murdered them in cold blood, around dawn time. Their funeral will commence today in Anadaan. The names of the martyrs are:

Aleppo suburbs- Maari: Mohammad Abdul-Ghani Saleh
Aleppo suburbs- Menbej: 6, six martyrs in the city resulting from gunfire that was opened onto a bus by Assad army forces at a checkpoint in Saraqeb, from them one child named ‘Amer Kino’ originally from Abu Kahf village was identified, along with a female and her son originally from Al-Owsharieh along with others.
University campus: ‘Majed AbdulHadi’ was martyred following brutal storming of housing units by security at night.

University campus and faculty of electrical engineering: 9 kidnapped, 3 students from outside the university campus, 6 students from the faculty of electrical engineering, amongst them a student from the faculty was detained in the security guards room until a Jeep car carrying 10 members of government security arrived and kidnapped the freedom callers.

A convoy of security vehicles wander in the area around the university to terrorise students.
Al-Azizieh: complete cut-off of the road opposite to Basel Hall near ‘George Lahdo’ that leads to ‘Sayyid Ali’ area where the observers are present, heavy spread and presence of armed security.
New Aleppo: heavy spread and presence of security as well as cut-off of the road near ‘Al-Shifa’ and ‘Basel’ roundabouts for unknown reasons.
Al-Sakhour: three buses and two cars full of heavily armed security in response to an evening demonstration that took place in the neighbourhood
University campus: night time storm of the campus in response to an evening demonstration, in particular storming housing units, tear gas bombs were dropped, heavy and continuous gunfire was opened inside the 8th unit. Arrival of 10 buses carrying 300 members of Assad security and thugs, all armed as though a war was to commence in the campus. Student ‘Ahmad Khalaf’ was severely injured, he’s currently in critical condition, he’s a second year Sociology student.
Aleppo suburbs- Al-Atareb: Assad army storm and raid a house near the entrance of Al-atareb town, which was then burnt down and destroyed.
